User Data Deletion

Option 1: In-App Deletion

Open the app and navigate to:

This will start the account removal wizard.

• You can permanently remove your account and all related data
• You can delete your account but leave your data for 30 days in case you reconsider
• You can delete your account but leave your data in case you reconsider

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not share your data.

Option 2: Contact Us

Please use the email associated with your account.

We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Data That May Be Deleted

This may include:

• Account information
• Stored boxes and items
• Photos and notes
• Authentication data associated with Facebook login

Locally Stored Data

If you used Box & Found without creating an account, your data is stored only in your browser on this device. Deleting your account doesn't affect this — and there's nothing on our servers to remove.

To clear locally stored data:

• Chrome / Edge / Brave: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data → See all site data → search for our site → trash icon.
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search for our site → Remove Selected.
• Safari (macOS): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for our site → Remove.
• Safari (iOS): Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → Edit → tap the red minus next to our site.

Clearing your browser's cache or "all site data" for our domain has the same effect — it removes every locally stored box, item, photo, and preference. This action cannot be undone.

Third-Party Services

Some data may also be stored temporarily through trusted infrastructure providers such as:
